I'm a unique artist creating both mosaic watercolours and foambrushellism acryilcs.

Biography

Born in Birmingham, England, I came to Canada in March of 1948 with my family. From an early age, I took a great deal of interest in art. My education was in a Commercial Art course at Danforth Tech in Toronto. My 42-year career as a photoengraver, colour retoucher, in the rotogravure printing industry started in 1958. In 2000, my intrigue with painting was renewed. After moving to Vancouver Island in 2003 and being involved with TOSH, I entered my first painting in the Sunday Painters Exhibition and have painted in the Grand Prix d’Art. In the past I have received 3 awards from the Federation of Canadian Artists. A 1st place Award of Excellence and a Honourable Mention and a Peoples Choice Award. For 10 years from 2010 I was teaching art (Drawing) at T.O.S.H. in the fall/winter and spring seasons has allowed me to pass on some of my skills.
