The OCAC provides teaching space at the McMillan Arts Centre and sponsorship for grant applications, helping to make a wide range of lifelong learning opportunities accessible to the community.

An Introduction to The Zentangle Method

Learn a fun and simple form of creative wellness.


The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing simple structured patterns. No artistic experience is required—anyone can do it! Time will literally stand still while you are guided through the eight steps of the Zentangle Method. You’ll leave each class feeling relaxed and inspired, bringing home a beautiful piece of “Creative Wellness.”

This four-week course runs from January 19 to February 9 and is held at the MAC on Mondays from 1–3 PM. For more information and registration, please visit Elder College .

Instructor: Diane Krompart, CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) — a retired cognitive psychologist and therapist. Diane has been offering Zentangle classes both in person and online for the past five years, helping students rediscover creativity through mindful art.
