Laura is a writer of adult & middle grade fiction, folk artist and photographer.

Biography

Laura started her publishing company, Running L Productions, in 2003 (www.RunningLProductions.com). She released the first novel in The Holiday Series of equine novels for middle grade readers, One Frosty Christmas, at a local craft show and sold out in 3 days. That novel became an Amazon Best Seller in 2009. Laura now writes in 3 genres: children's books, middle grade, & adult cozy mysteries. All have been on the Amazon Best Seller list. Laura began her artist career as a minor in college, specializing in photography and water colors. Life took her career in another direction until 2021 when she began painting folk art & renewed her love of photography. Her folk art is inspired by Maud Lewis.
