After retiring, I found my passion in intuitive abstract painting. My hunger for learning has driven me to experiment in mixed media where I continue to evolve with my art.
Biography
Kim Ricalton is a self-taught abstract expressionist who creates heavily textured and multi layered paintings. She is a Nanoose Bay British Columbia artist who is inspired by the environment in which she lives. She demonstrates a mastery over colour choice, and evokes her inner free-spirit within every piece. Each palette creates a specific emotion of mood. She builds the texture of her painting with many layers to reflect the emotional depth of her passionate thoughtful process.
