My blown glass art continues to evolve from my experience of weaving, watercolour, pottery, jewelry design using precious metal clay.
Biography
Diane Brinton has dabbled in arts and crafts for over 40 years - weaving, watercolours, pottery, jewelry design and new techniques using silver and bronze precious metal clay. She’s always collected glass objects like a ‘magpie’ and at long last learned to create art pieces using glass. Taking instruction from local and international artists, she has built up her skills working with glass. In her home studio she creates glass pieces using a variety of glass techniques – mosaics, fusing, flame sculpting and blowing. Her pieces evoke the mystery and magic of nature, that is where her heart lives.
