Photography has encouraged me to look deeper into the world around me and expand my knowledge about the subjects I choose to shoot.

Biography

Barb was so intimidated by her first digital camera, a birthday gift, that she let it sit in it's box for over 6 months. After a couple of outings with a local photographer she became a little more confident and started opening up a whole new world of discovery. From there she joined the photography club to learn and expand her knowledge. Ten years later she still has a lot to learn but is enjoying each and every moment spent outside looking at all the little things she was missing out on. She feels she only has the one chance and opportunity to open her eyes, see the smallest details and capture the photo in that specific moment in time, before it disappears.
