Welcome to Oceanside Arts Magazine – April 2026 | Issue 04

This issue of Oceanside Arts Magazine brings together a diverse range of artists and stories, exploring how creativity is shaped by place, experience, and the act of making.

Featuring a conversation with Octavio Ribeiro, alongside profiles of artists including Zana Ancerl Jefferies, Emma Paveley, and Elissa Anthony, the issue offers insight into evolving creative journeys across disciplines. From reflections on Nova Scotia and Egypt to stories rooted in local and shared experiences, a strong sense of place runs throughout.

Themes of storytelling, collaboration, and personal expression are woven through features such as Cantelope and Other Local Legends, Art Therapy, and Echoes of Salt and Story. Closer to home, At the MAC highlights the McMillan Arts Centre as a vibrant hub for arts and culture in the Oceanside region.

Together, these pieces form a rich and layered portrait of contemporary creative life.
