Show Up & Shine

Show Up & Shine is about perseverance, courage, and learning to trust yourself through times of change.

This piece was inspired by the understanding that perseverance doesn't always look like strength or certainty. Sometimes, it simply means continuing to show up — even when you're tired, discouraged, or unsure of what comes next.

Through layers of hand-painted dots, colour, and pattern, the artwork expresses the energy that can emerge when we keep moving forward, one small step at a time. Each dot becomes part of a larger whole, reflecting how seemingly small acts of courage and persistence can gradually create something meaningful.

For me, Show Up & Shine is a reminder that we don't have to have everything figured out to keep going. We can acknowledge the difficult moments, give ourselves permission to move at our own pace, and trust that our strength may reveal itself along the way.

It celebrates the courage to keep showing up for ourselves and the possibility of finding our light, even during uncertain times.
