10562860873?profile=RESIZE_710xJoin us at our weekly open studio, each with its own theme, using a variety of art making mediums and techniques like mending, stitching, paint, collage, clay, found objects, 2d and 3d, weaving, and nature to explore what is immediate for you in the moment.

Making art together can support us to move through life’s challenges, helping us to grieve our losses, mitigate feelings of isolation and loneliness and reduce symptoms of stress and anxiety.

The sessions will be facilitated by Art Therapist Heidi Abbott, and Art Therapy Intern Farrell Elliot.  Heidi and Farell both have a love for the therapeutic, meditative, healing, and self-expressive attributes of creating together.

Everyone welcome, free, all supplies are provided.

Bringing Classical Music to the Parksville-Qualicum Beach Area

Oceanside Classical Concerts is a subscription-only concert series. Subscriptions are only available for the season. Tickets are not sold to individual concerts. The reason this is done is to have a predictable income that allows us to book the best talent available. It also means that our volunteers have a major campaign blitz before the season starts without all of the overhead of a box office. Even more importantly it gives the subscribers a carefully crafted concert experience over the entire series.

Subscriptions are transferable so if you’re unable to attend a concert you can invite someone to attend in your place. Please ensure they bring your subscription card with them for the concert.
