Art Foundations-Textile Art Level 1 with Margie Davidson

Here's an opportunity to explore colour and texture by creating small fabric landscapes. Emphasis is placed on use of scale, overlapping, value, and pattern to create depth within each landscape. Participants will work in series and create two or more small landscapes using a fused applique technique.

About the Instructor: Margie Davidson is a quilt artist and surface designer. She enjoys painting, sunprinting, and blockprinting as well as cooking up colour with natural dyes. Her award-winning quilts have been exhibited in Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the United States.
