Membership Benefits
A membership with the OCAC will mean you receive by post our bi-monthly newsletter On Track, and discounts on rental fees, class registration fees and admission fees to many of our community events. You will also be eligible for a personal web page (see more below) which we offer to our members at a cost below commercial server rates.

In addition, Oceanside members who display and sell their work from private studios as well as businesses are eligible to be included in our annual tourist brochure, The Guide to Artists and Studios, also known simply as the Blue Brochure. Published in the spring just before tourist season begins, it includes phone/address/email contact information and a map showing the location of all participating artists and artisans in the Parksville/Qualicum Beach area. It is distributed across Vancouver Island for display in hotels, motels, tourist bureaus and B&B's, as well as being available on BC Ferries. Contact the OCAC for information on registration fees and publication dates. You can now download (1.5 MB) a printable PDF version of the current 2008/2009 brochure.

Member Websites
Member artists and groups who wish to have an existing website included as a link, please let us know. We can accommodate you as long as you reciprocate by including us as a link on your website.

The OCAC will also be reviving the offer of webspace to members. For a small fee, individual artists will be able to display their work online. A sample template will be viewable in this section in the near future, so please check back soon.

Meanwhile, those who are interested in this offer may contact the OCAC now. Basic guidelines are as follows:

• One picture of the artist;
• Up to 6 pictures of artwork;
• A bio and brief artist's statement, maximum of 500 words.
